The Foundation is launching a call for applications to fund undergraduate and graduate students developing theses focused on Indigenous Peoples, within the institution’s areas of work.
The scholarship, for which applications are open until May 5th, will provide applicants with a monthly stipend of $150,000 for four months.
The Foundation’s areas of work include:
Indigenous Peoples’ Culture and Identity.
Indigenous Institutions.
Indigenous Peoples’ Rights and Responsibilities.
Productive Development of Indigenous Communities and Families.
For this 2025 Scholarship, the Foundation suggests the following areas of focus for thesis applications:
– Economic Development of Indigenous Peoples.
– Improvements to the Implementation of Indigenous Consultation.
– Innovation: Indigenous Language and Culture
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Be currently developing a thesis or graduation project benefiting Indigenous communities in the Araucanía Region, aligned with the Foundation’s areas of work.
- Be able to complete their thesis or graduation project during 2025 or early 2026.
- Not have a public scholarship to fund their thesis or graduation project.
